Under the Local Government Act 2000, we are required to let you know about your right to ask for a referendum on changing our governance arrangements for City of Doncaster Council and the numbers needed for a valid petition.

We are required to publish the number of electors that is equal to 5 percent of the number registered to vote at a local government election as shown on the Electoral Register on 15 February every year. This number will be published within 14 days of 15 February each year.
